They call it a Canadian company.

October 10, 2014

Yesterday, October 9, an investment commentator/advisor in a Toronto studio was asked by a Business News Network journalist to name a recently successful Canadian company he immediately, with great assurance, blurted Suncor. Neither the person being questioned nor the journalist batted an eye: for Suncor is known to be a Canadian company mining “tarsands” oil and selling the results to the United States and to Canadians in Canada under the former crown corporation, Petro Canada, label: Petro Canada purchased by Suncor through the efforts of former CEO Rick George of Colorado who passed the CEO mantle to his old American Sun Oil compatriot Steve Williams current leader at Suncor.
