Yesterday June 29, 2016 I spotted a post under a Chicago Tribune banner that came up with my donaldtrump Google search. The writer, Jim Ruth, did not like Mr. Trump but said he and others of the new, well-educated, affluent baby boomer silent majority just might vote for him. Longing for the days when a Tim Russert could grill both Democrat and Republican “equitably” without showing his own preference; Ruth throughout his article, seems’ to echo Mr. Trump’s “make America great again” slogan. His effort to distinguish himself and others like himself as not being like the uneducated workers that media still highlight in voter preference statistics reminds me of the non stop grotesques that have shaped the Donald Trump that everyone hates.
