Two summer time posts in which I tried to make sense of the way the media characterize voters have gotten some attention this 26/27 of November, 2016. Their relevance has been revived by Mr. Sanders’ claim that social cast is more relevant in assessing voter behaviour than colour; a former Sanders’ supporter, a Democrat of colour disagrees.
I am still certain that the poor outnumber the upper and middle classes, and among that great majority are the unemployed and working poor, many of whom are women and people of varying skin tone. Despite unsuccessful attempts to undermine Mr. Trump’s campaigns by characterizing his supporters as uneducated workers Mr. Trump prevailed and those with plenty to invest have propelled the Dow to new heights. Wierd Eh?
