Glancing over this morning’s Trump Google search results, the following header from Salon caught my attention because since journalists started writing about President Trump’s candidacy way back in the summer of 2015 I’ve tried without success to find an online article objective enough to be considered “intellectual’ and informative. Everything that came up in Trump search results were mindlessly crude headers that dittoed the latest caricature of a Donald Trump tweet. My favourite example of journalistic intellectually refined diction was ” ‘f..king f—ing firing squad’ ” in an Emily Smith and Daniel Harper report of President Trump’s meeting with media bosses on November 21, 2016.
