Sometimes when I look out my window and see people dressed in shorts and tee shirts, it looks like summer regardless of the chill I feel on my skin when I step outside. Like today at 9:30 am. and my television showing 7 degrees above 0 celsius and a caption warning of frost tonight, with gloves on and warm jacket zipped to the chin I walked past a guy in a tee-shirt installing those interlocking pavement stones and suddenly felt overdressed. I know it’s the second week of May, but I still remember those first days of June that used to feel like today, and my neighbour’s dad telling me how he used to have to dress the kids real warm  on the 24th of May, fire cracker day.
